# Driving across West Virginia

Certain twisty secondary roads in southern West Virginia are the only place I have ever been faced with posted signs ‘limiting’ me to a speed _greater_ than that which I felt I could safely drive–and I was trying to make time. But there was almost no other traffic, so no real worries.

Be prepared to go without cellular signal for various stretches.
