Of course, No Apparent Fear Of Death is the best/only way to drive in Boston.
My one time driving in Boston was like the George Carlin joke, I was in a rental car, and had full insurance. It worked out great.
On the freeway in Boston, it seemed that seeing a turn signal means speed up and close the gap. I’d just move over anyway, if the person didn’t like it, they could hit me. Natives wait to signal until after they’ve changed lanes.
I watched a woman make this claim in traffic court. She was making the claim her religion counts her unborn child as a person. The judge asked her if the unborn child was in a child safety car seat as required by law. She said no. The judge asked her if should would pay admission for this child at an event that required a ticket for all attendees. She said no. Then finally the judge asked her if she could, on the day she was cited, claim that child as a tax exemption. She said no. The judge then said the citation would stand as written.
I think I’ve heard of that, however this was before the law change in TX which is a legal argument. And also another legal argument is ‘unborn child’ = to ‘child’ legally or a different status such as fetus. The TX law defines a fetus as a person, not a child.
The difference is that the State of Texas has declared a fetus to be a person.
Though I would love it if a car seat violation winds up in court and how they deal with the impossibility.
Three times a week from the south coast. Rte 24 to the southeast expressway, in the city by 6:30am and out by 1pm.
The best defense is a good offense. Drive fast, take chances.
Turn signals are giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
I’m a little late getting around to this, but, while just a semantic argument, to me, “2” is not high occupancy even if 99% of vehicles are single-occupant. I would have called it multiple occupancy myself. A high occupancy vehicle sounds like a van or a bus to me.
Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, on the peninsula the highway 101 HOV lane was recently changed from 2 people, to 3.
This will be good news to my niece, who lives in that area and recently announced that she’s pregnant with twins.

Good one.
