# Driving in the left lane

Sometimes I think Americans should have the same kind of driver’s training and tests Europeans have. That would cut probably 60% of American drivers from the roads (and significantly lower traffic fatalities and insurance premiums).
Problem is, most places here dont have the availability of public transit that Europe has so the knuckle-dragging erstwhile drivers would have nobway to get around.
I think that’s exactly the reason that American driving tests are so deadly easy.
