If you mount from the same side as a horse, then you would be mounting the bike from the traffic side.

On the other hand, Martini Enfield says from the footpath side - which is safe, but from the right side of the bike.

Two opposite answers.

I just describe what we do, not what we should do.

Sorry, I didnt realise Martini Enfield was from Australia. So, bike is mounted from traffic side. Got it. Ta.

If you’re mounting your bike in traffic, you’re doing it wrong.
