# DrMark2000 banned!

I’m composing this post in some sort of a processing window that includes a collection of smilies, as well as a MSWord-esque toolbar with gobs of features, that allow me to do SOME THINGS THAT I NEVER dreamed of being able to do, if I had to code it all by hand.
I don’t recall if it was this elaborate before the subscription model was implemented, but I sure do find it cool.
Also, I notice that some people’s names have a grey circle next to them, while other people’s names have a green circle. That strikes me as a “who’s on line” feature, that was proposed as a **possibility** (admittedly, I also seem to recall an ability to determine the online/offline status of each poster back in the free days, so I’m not eager to defend that as a kept promise).
Can we get back to discussing what a tool **Aeschines** is?

Yeah trying to blow it off as outright deceit on my part was a slap in the face.
I totally understand why you included our history. It makes a point that you’re not just agreeing with your friend, you’re agreeing with a point that was made. Dispells any notion that you only said what you said because you wanted to stick up for a buddy. 🙂

My wife loves one of the disney boards, it might be the worst offender of animated gifs I’ve ever seen. I can’t stand looking at it for more than a few minutes. Every user has a stupid Avatar, 6 inches of Signature and dozens of bouncing smilies, dancing Minnies or other crap.
I hope we stay away from any of that. A limited edit feature sounds great and of course a more powerful server to make less time outs.
**Catsix** : you basically called Tuba a liar and she basically called you one back. I would call that even at this point. Both of you have allowed for the benefit of the doubt. Playing the victim is kind of lame at this point.

I pointed out that past statements by the administration about new features after going pay-to-post never came actually happened and I was called deliberately deceitful and had implications made about what she’d like to do to me because I’m a nasty person.
Yeah that sure seems fucking even to me.

That is close to calling her a Liar.

So she pretty much called you a liar but she hardly threatened you.
So yes, I think you’re basically even in snarling at each other. You made a fairly good point about the carrot, but weaken any point you made by claiming a victim status.

A cool feature would be that when a pit thread has lost focus and turned into a pissing contest between two posters (sometimes a few more), some sort of icon or color warns you of that so that you don’t waste your time clicking on it, only to read through a full page of, “Oh yeah? Well you went to state college!” “Oh yeah? Well, my Masters advisor said I had the perspicacity of a young Alexander Blugelvertzer. And he was a nominee for a Nobel prize. So suck it!” “Oh yeah? Well my penis is 5 and a half inches long when I’m fully erect.”

Fair enough. I despise bickering between members, especially when the opportunity to bash the staff is present. 😃
All kidding aside, the thing I hate more than the bickering is the liberal use of the “liar” accusation here. I’m not referring to you per se, just noting it was quite prevalent in the previous DrMark pit thread.
In my opinion, it’s a far more egregious offense to label someone a liar without substantiated proof than it is to wish death on them. Not that I’ve ever committed either infraction, but one’s a mere wish - whilst the other borders on slander.

Hey. I say “content over crapola,” you say tomahto. There’ve been a few slow downs, but nothing compared to the way it used to be. Although I still think archiving everything prior to 2004 on a separate server would speed it up immensely, but that’s just my opinion.
