# DrMark2000 banned!

Here is what pissed me off the most. **He wasn’t even a very _good_ troll**. Holy Crap -he dialed it down so low, to the most obvious level, that it was painful to watch.
There is only one level lower than outing yourself the way **DrMark2000** did. That is to _declare_ yourself a troll.
To me, watching him troll this board and not get called on it was the equivilent of seeing internet savvy people watching someone get culled by the Nigerian money scam and not being able to warn them.
I’ve attempted to think of a way that the rules could be changed to allow one poster to call another poster a troll. The rudimentary outline I’ve thought of goes something like this:
A)‘He’s green and lives under a bridge’ type of posts should be treated under the current guidelines of "No calling another poster a troll’.
B)Allow “I am calling Poster **Whomever** a TROLL.” With the understanding that the accuser will be automatically handed a 30 day suspension So you better back it up. If your accusation has merit (Herein lies the debate I suppose) and the accused ends up being banned for trollery you are at that point (regardless of ‘time served’), allowed back. However, If your troll accusation is overturned your suspension is turned into a BANNING. Also, only Members (or above) are allowed to do so - to prevent frivolous ‘Guest’ accusations.
I started this in the Pit but I think I’ll repost the main part in Great Debates because I’m really curious as to how the best minds of this board could approach this. Not that the best minds don’t frequent this level, but it would be interesting to see the ideas presented free of vitriol.

You know… until I read this I wasn’t sure if I would re-up… not because I felt this board had issues, but because of how much time I spend lurking, looking for that whizbanger of a comment. And your friend, drmark2000 gave me an opportunity to make a \_\_\_\_\_ like a motherfuck joke! I mean, for eight bucks? The two martinis that I am sipping on tonight only cost me that much. You’re right. The more sensible conclusion would be to think back to all the times before that the mods or admins have mentioned ‘cool new stuff’ and then remember their statements when asked about it later: ‘We never promised you anything.’
