In this context, it’s someone who deliberately posts false or inflamatory information on a message board for the sole purpose ofof causing a strong reaction.

Dopes!!! My good buddy Q.E.D _stole_ that finger from an ASCII art site!!! DAMN HIM!! I have been trying to figure out how to post that EXACT same finger here on and off for two days, The problem is that the BBS software eliminates all the spaces, making a jumbled uo mess.  
Q.E.D, you are big and hairy and stinky and everyone hates you because you smell like kitty wee-wee!
