Somehow, I don’t see the re-emergence of Smash The State. Funny how things work out, eh?
Ah, so it’s just your usual trolling. Gotcha.
Anybody who drives puts other lives at serious risk, so therefore sober drivers should burn in hell too. This is particularly true in densely populated areas, where the congestion created by mostly sober drivers afflicts predominantly poor people with nasty respiratory diseases. To add insult to injury, many people affected are forced to breathe in fumes from gasoline imported from outside their neighborhoods.
And that’s not even getting into the fact that driving is akin to pouring $s into the pockets of petrodictators.
What’s most astounding to me is that the people calling me stupid are the ones flapping their arms and yammering about saving the children and how we all know it’s just wrong because it’s wrong. They appear to be proud of their own ignorance and unwillingness to justify their beliefs with anything except more arm-flapping and insults.
To make this perfectly clear: punishing people for things they haven’t done is wrong. Driving drunk harms no one. Hitting someone while driving drunk harms people, and I do not approve of this. However, I also don’t approve of driving, period. I have never owned a car, and in my 40 years on this planet I’ve seen no need to learn how to drive. Driving is an ignorant, antisocial activity which harms other people. However, if driving is permitted, then we must also accept drunk driving, as the same rationale which permits driving (your convenience is more important than my life) also permits drunk driving.
Agreed.
Parents who let their kids motor around at all hours need to accept that doing so puts the kids at risk. It’s too bad the kids are dead, but better parenting would have prevented the accident.
What the FUCK? Are you on crack?
You have posted here 35,555 times and have come to the conclusion that asking someone if they’re on crack constitutes a rational argument. Interesting.
I think it’s a troll.
And they should stay off my fucking lawn!
When I was 16, I routinely stayed out until midnight and later, especially on weekends. Despite my parents’ obvious lack of love for me, I miraculously survived. And I’ve only robbed 2 liquor stores!
Only two? 'Round these parts you’d still be considered a rookie. Move aside son and lemme show you how it’s done.
So, I trust you don’t take buses either. Horses are pretty dangerous also - besides the obvious pollution angle, if you’ve ever been near a rearing horse, you’d know what I mean.
In California young drivers have restrictions on their licenses - they are not allowed to drive this late, and can’t drive with other teens in the car, unless a parent is present. It’s an excellent way of getting the kids some experience in relatively safe conditions. Not that it is a sure thing that even an experienced driver could have survived this. Near me some drunk drove the wrong way on a bridge across, finally killing a man and his wife, and leaving their children orphans.
Fuck Carol Stream is the biggest douche bag I have ever read.
Oh and obligatory
For a second, I thought you meant that you got into an argument with your relative while you were driving and almost hit someone else on the road.
I did drugs when I was 16, and I twice got arrested for it. Therefore it’s ok for 16-year-olds to do drugs.
Heh. No, but if that were to happen, it would almost certainly be with THAT relative.
This can clearly be attributed to poor parenting.
If the drunk’s parents had raised him properly, this never would have happened.
OK, I’ll fess up. I have a dui conviction. It happened 20+ years ago. It scared the bejeezus out of me.I learned one Important message, " It is Never OK to drive drunk.
