There’s a consumer advocacy mob here in Australia, CHOICE, and they publish mags and studies comparing products on the market. Everything from washing machines and vacuum cleaners to skin products.
A few years back they did a major study into moisturizers, and their conclusions came out that $$ spent does not equate to efficacy. In fact the cream that ‘won’ Choice’s vote was a home brand Vit E cream from a national supermarket chain. Unscented and then $1.99, it beat all the more upmarket concoctions costing up to $100 or more.
Maybe worth a shot…
