Ok, since my other thread sinks like a bloated stone, I’ve opened a new one. Hey, look at it this way. This is one less war/anti-war/Iraq/media hype thread! Tenatively: The Gotham Cafe (on South St Anne Street, off Grafton Street) at 7pm or thereabouts on the 11th of April, Friday. If you can’t go there, then meet up for drinks at Keogh’s afterwards. Here is the list, I think: 1. Me 2. My friend Sharon (not from the boards) 3. jjimm 4. jjimm-ette (?) 5. Twisty McTwist (I think) 6. yojimbo Pretty poor showing, considering there are two non-dopers and a whole new mess of Dublin Dopers who’ve registered recently. Not that we won’t have fun, of course, but it’d be fun to meet the new folks. ---

yeah, I’d love to see some faces from the SDMB, but Fridays are a bit iffy for me. Saturdays or even Thursdays would suit me better. I’m leaving for Wales on a Hiking weekend on 10th April, so I won’t be around for this meet, but yes, please keep me informed of upcoming ones, and I’ll see if I can make it! tnx 🙂 ---

Count me in. Defo! And count mrs. micilin in too. Also I admire your attempt to civilise the affair by calling it the ‘Dub DinnerdopeFest’, but - going on previous outings -the ‘Dub-quick-bite-to-eat-before-lashing-into-the-gargle-in-Kehoe’s-DopeFest’ might turn out be more accurate. 🙂 ---

I’m also probably going to the fair city for the Easter holiday, please help us, for the bi annual MIL/FIL grandchild bonding session where they try to indoctrinate her into the Catholic faith but stuffing her full of chocolate. ---
