Yeah, god forbid the Dope actually give a shit about the customers. I don’t think anybody here wanted to be a dictator, just to be treated better than as if we’re nothing but a pain in the ass. Good customer service doesn’t mean you have to lick ass, but it should mean something more than ‘shut the fuck up and quit whining.’ ---

Oh, sorry, not in those words. It’s more the calling posters ‘douchebags’ and then shutting down virtually every thread on this issue that isn’t an ass-kissing thread like the one currently in MPSIMS. It sends a clear message that we’re not given modest respect as customers, but treated as annoyances that have to be put up with. ---

Of course there’s still the attitude that’s been going around lately that anyone with any complaint about the forums should just leave, and the fact that the attitude has been expressed more than once recently that those of us who have a problem with the actions of **Tuba** are being ‘too hard’ on her because she’s just so wonderful. There was the admin who opened a closed thread in order to get in a parting shot at people and snarkily laughed ‘tough shit, it’s my privilege.’ I’m not asking to be the god damned emperor, but I would like to feel like members are considered better than an inconvenience. Course even more annoying than what the admins have said recently is the attitude of other posters who appear to _like_ being treated as if they’re beneath the minimal respect that a business should have for its customers. ---
