Do I get a phone call first? If so, I’m calling Donald’s Uncle Scrooge McDuck and asking what his price is. Of course, he’s a notorious skinflint, so he may not part with any money to save his nephew’s life. But if he does, Daffy gets the pot. ---

I agree with **TriPolar** , including **T** ’s reassessment. Daffy is more worth saving, but also, I suspect, much harder to kill in the cartoon universe. So, hmm, which sauce should he be thrown into for the most laffs? ---

I’ve been binge-watching old Disney cartoons from a French video website. I’ve seen a lot of Donald Duck ones that I’ve never seen before and they’re all fresh in my mind. Short version: Donald is a dick. [He tries to shoot cute penguins](https://s3.amazonaws.com/intanibase/iad_screenshots/1939/294/12.jpg). [He opens fire on an audience with a machine gun because they didn’t like his poetry recital](http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5oe19f_mickey-mouse-mickey-s-amateurs-1937_fun). Sorry, can’t find a screen grab. Said event is at 4:00. And plenty of other petty little mean stuff. So you can go ahead and plunge him into the kettle. Daffy’s way funnier, anyway. ---

I will spare Daffy, for what he dared to do During WWII. Both Ducks did help in the propaganda efforts, but Donald looked then as more wary and scared of Hitler and the other Axis leaders.
