I _was_ alone, watching one of those ‘loved ones are far away and we bring them together TV programmes’, when a friend called me and told me he met a guy that I just _had_ to meet. So I did and we had a great evening. We’re going out again tomorrow. 🙂 I really wanted to join you in WoW, but I’m on Dragonblight EU, and this was the next best thing 😉 ---

How alone WERE you last night? Well, I didn’t log on to the Dope, that’ how isolated I was. But purely by choice. I spent the whole day all to myself, painting and writing and watching old movies I’d bought but hadn’t had the time to see during the year, and I’m looking forward to another wonderful Xmas day–no tree, no presents, and hopefully without seeing or speaking to another human being. O blissful solitude! ---

Alone and loving it. I didn’t even put up decorations this year. My daughter wanted a santa hat so we pulled down the box to look for it. As I rummaged through the box she said nervously - “Er, Mum, you’re not going to get any of that stuff out are you?” Ha! She says it’s like a holdiay from Christmas in here. The fridge is empty - I’m striking a blow against consumerism plus I’ll only get two days work next week, and had only two this week. I spent the evening watching BBC wildlife episodes online. ---

I worked Xmas eve till 3, came home, ate some leftover tuna casarole, played on the computer, wrestled with the dogs ('bout the only thing that made me smile) and watched ‘Freaks’ Yeah… nothing says Christmas like an old B/W horror movie. Today, Xmas day isn’t looking much more festive. I am cooking dinner and … well, prolly nothing. Watch some movies, maybe write a little bit if the spirit moves me… that’s about it. Don’t plan on getting out of my flannel gown all day. Quasi, I added you on my Yahoo. Hey Bill… I was having trouble with my Yahoo last night… I was trying to change my avitar pic and SOMEHOW it closed the whole thing out, opened up an old, obsolete Yahoo account that I never use, and I had to reboot the frickin’ computer to get the RIGHT one back. I was alone last night, save for my two dogs. I lit a fire in the fireplace (I have a gas fireplace, so no big effort) and one of the dogs wandered over and lay down in front of it for awhile, so I had a nice little domestic scene. I should of took a picture, but I was too lazy to get up and get my camera, and by then she would have moved, anyway. I watched a Jeff Dunham special I had saved on my DVR. He’s the ventriloquist with the old-guy puppet named Walter, and he is _seriously_ funny. ---

**cochrane** , I agree! 😃 I love the video where, near the end, he’s got all puppets interacting which each other and himself. I often wonder what it would be like, being his wife? Swore offa that shit when I got diagnosed with Early (soon to be “Young”) Onset Alzheimer’s. Why put myself or someone else through that when it isn’t necessary and can only lead to heartache?
