I agree. Spelling/grammar obsession is diversionary and disingenuous except to gratuitously irritate another person when you are not better able to address the merits of their post. However, it becomes relevant if and when the very subject of a post is someone else’s spelling or grammar: then you had best be letter perfect of get out of the proverbial kitchen. (glass house etc.) ---
