[Obligatory link for what it’s worth](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=532116) So, first you cut and paste some stupid joke list you found on the internet, and fail to mention that it is not your own work. That’s plagiarism. Took me mere seconds to find the entire list, word for word, on multiple websites. I busted you on it fair and square, and also reported the thread. Then, you curse me out via PM, while having your own PMs turned off so I can’t reply. That’s cowardice. Where in the fuck do you get off bitching about being busted for stealing someone’s work, fuckwit\*? It is clearly not my fault you’re a stupid little shit nugget. You know the kind…that one tiny little piece of turd that clings to a sphincter, refusing to fall and be flushed away no matter how much one flexes and strains. And if you are going to whine like a pimp-slapped whore, at least have the sack to turn on your PMs so I can reply in kind. So kiss my ass, Bitch. \*fuckwit is not on the list of forbidden words. \*\*Fuck me for the spelling error in the title. ---

Also, “sharing” such things is not allowed here, and he got an official warning for it. If he was going to post it anyway, he should have identified it as an email forward, or something he found elsewhere, but there was no such disclaimer in his OP. Oops. The plagiarism warning was rescinded in favor of one for telling Twicks to stuff the first warning up her ass. (I wonder if Rule 34 applies to anal warning stuffage?–then again, I don’t wanna know) ---

People find jokes on the net and post or forward them all the time. It doesn’t rise to the level of plagiarism. If someone had started shit with me over stuff like this, you can expect to get an ass reaming from me. Free advice: don’t start shit with people if you’re not prepared to get some back. And it doesn’t have to be a ‘fair fight’ either. ---

So at least one other person, a person with some authority, thought it was a bad idea to simply cut/paste a joke from elsewhere on the internet. It wasn’t just a “A rabbi and a blonde woman walk into a bar…” type joke. It was a long complex (kind of) joke completely taken from a whole other website. All it would have taken for the shitty thread to not be closed was a link and possibly deleting some of the items in the list, so as not to be completely taking someone else’s work. Like with song lyrics. ---
