I wouldn’t be at all surprised that you intended to be a dick when you posted that plagiarism comment. And you only compounded your asshattery but further calling Dudley out for something he didn’t do on purpose (the PM thing). Your bad behavior is not justified in any way by Dudley’s bad behavior. You are just as much at fault for your reaction. Either I’m as unreasonable as you, or Dopers love the finger pointing. **Oak** had, from among his options, two scenarios: 1. Hit the little red box, and send a note to **twickster** saying something like, “This is plagiarized work from internet sources,” ignoring whether plagiarism or infringement is the technically correct term. No heroes here, just a junior mod with a badly tarnished badge running up against someone who wasn’t in the mood to take the junior modding crap. 2. Do (1) above, but also post, “Neener! Neener! Plagiarist! Everyone look at what I found! Nasty plagiarist. Gollum hates it forever” I’ve done 1 a few times (not that often). I hope I’ve never done 2, but I certainly don’t remember all of my posts over the years. **Dudley** erred, **Oak** instigated (ass), **Dudley** responded (ass[sup]2[/sup]) and then went to ass[sup]3[/sup] in responding to **twickster**. ---
