# Dumb and Dumber: the unanswered question.

Lloyd takes Mary back to his hotel, and she’s obviously thrilled to get her briefcase back- the very briefcase which had in it the ransom money for her kidnapped husband. She should have been appalled. Maybe the movie should have been titled: “Dumb and Dumber and Dumbest”.

IIRC, she knew that the briefcase with the money didn’t reach it’s intended target. Not only was she out the money, but the kidnappers would hurt her husband. Now she has the money back and can pay the ransom.

I thought the unanswered question was _“which one is dumb, and which is dumber?”_
