We’ve had a [previous thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=350057&highlight=church+funeral+army) on Westboro Baptist Church and their ridiculous tirade against…well…everyone. Most of you have probably already seen it, though. Honestly, is this woman being serious? I’m watching the whole thing for some giveaway sign that this is satirical but I’m left still waiting when it finishes. This might be more suited to the pit, but my comments on it are pretty non-colourful for now. If this has been posted before, I’m sorry! Or if it’s in the wrong place, move it. ---

Holy crap. What a psycho beast. She probably believes that the war is good and that abortion is good, yet dead gays are good. She’s a hypocrite, no matter what. Her smile doesn’t go away as she gets roasted. That’s very unnerving. It’s funny how Sean Hannity is going on about how religion is being used as a blackjack to the back of the head of society. For once, I agree wholeheartedly with Hannity and Colmes (up to the god of Isaac and Jacob and such). Why would she even go on tv? She obviously thinks that what she believes is righteous, which is very unsettling. Asking her sins is a bit off topic. That’s just attacking her instead of her position. Instead, they should have a rabbi and a priest and an athiest and have a battle royale. I’m SO not kidding, either. They need a round table discussion. However!..she has the right to think such things. She’s wacky, and I don’t agree with her, but she has every single right to think what she does. ---

Of course, it goes without saying that she has her right to think it and say what she thinks. She just…shouldn’t in my opinion! She has a really creepy face, too. Maybe I’m getting that from what she says, though. ---

Yeah, [here’s the Pit thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=369964) on that. If you do a search, you’ll find they’re fairly notorious, and have maybe a thread a month for the past forever. The policy here is DNFTT, but they don’t post here, so it goes on. 😉 Read the other thread for more info. Basically they’re completely serious, and completely beyond the help of modern psychotherapy. ---

Desmond is a wierd character in Lost. Basically, he’s a bit creepy and would say “hello, brother” to a Jack (not his brother) in a Scottish accent. I’ve started saying it, which I think makes me a bit of a loser. That’s what I miss about growing up, me and my brother are now mature enough to get along with each other. I’ll bicker with you instead now. ---

Since there’s already a Pit thread about this (which is much more colorful) and _this_ thread has turned into a conversation, I think I’ll close this down.
