Hmm… I’d heard Gambon mentioned by the rumor mill, but wasn’t expecting him to get the part. Still, I liked him a lot as Maigret in the BBC mystery series, so he should do fine. ---

I can easily picture Oldman as Sirius. He can get an emiated look to him quite easily. I know nothing about Spall and Tewlis, but I wish there was a picture for Thewlis, just to give me imagery. ---

Actually, I’ve imagined Tim Roth as Lupin for some time. I’m pretty pleased with Gary Oldman as Sirius, though.
