I’d just figured I’d check and see…is anyone else on the Dope playing this game? It seems so smart to me…it forces you to think and punishes hastiness severely! ---

I played a lot back when it was Linley’s Dungeon Crawl and managed a few wins. I’ve played a bit since then, but can’t recall a single victory since Stone Soup came along. I haven’t made a serious attempt since they removed the Mountain Dwarf race. It sort of is a good game for work. On the good side it has low requirements, doesn’t look like a game, has no sound, and you can play it for short periods. On the bad side it takes a lot more concentration than your standard coffee break game. ---

I agree about it being a good game for work. And you are right - it’s very demanding of your concentration. This makes it good for me as I can play till I come across a sticky situation, take stock of what I have, and think it over while I do the repetitive stuff. ---
