# Dutty eh?

Ok, just a quick question- What does Sean Paul mean when he shouts Dutty-ed? Or is it dutty head? Or, indeed dutty yeah? Can no understand. What are the origins of the phrase? He seems to be the only reggae artist I’ve ever heard use ti, although I dont really listen to much reggae, truth be told.

I think it’s Jamaican patois for “dirty”

My mother uses it all the time.
