Doe abyone know of any (preferably free) cataloging software for DVDs? I’ve got way too many discs and I’d like to do something geeky with them.

Check out [DVD Profiler](http://www.intervocative.com/dvdpro/Info.aspx). Excellent database software and its free! Pay version will get you high-res cover scans.

[Movie Collector](http://www.collectorz.com/movie/) isn’t free, but it’s only about $40 for the full version. I tried the Book Collector software by the same maker, and liked it enough to buy the full version. (I made my own DVD database…talk about doing something geeky!) 🙂

[Catvids](http://www.tucows.com/preview/198380.html) is also about $40. I like its internet download, report generation, and ease of use.
