This stuff is interesting. Thanks for the link. A mulch which allows water to penetrate but blocks weeds, doesn’t suck up nitrogen, is reusable, consists of a product which would normally just sit in a landfill and many other benefits. This is good stuff, I might go buy some this weekend.
I just bought some today. That’s how I knew about the link. I HATE red mulch and I really don’t like splinters.
Ah, but the smell of fresh cedar mulch is so nice! Here in the Evergreen State, we have scads of it and folks around here know how to use it properly. May we never be invaded by the dyed junk. Ugh!
The rubber stuff is admittedly interesting but the colors all look so uniform aand bland. Maybe the pictures are bad or maybe they should try blending several shades together.
But I live in the evergreen state. I just don’t like splinters. And the smell of cedar is lovely (proof: an entire cedar paneled basement), but the chips smell funny.
