Dying computers

This thread left me asking-has a market for antique PCs started to emerge yet? Take the really early stuff-like a Wang PC or an OSBORNE portable? Or how about the SINCLAIR PC-about all it could do was add two numbers. Given that most people trash their old computers, I wonder if I should start collecting old computers?

“market for antique PCs”

I have a ‘Pocket PC’ 256k, a few years old. What’s funny is they just came out with a computer called a ‘Pocket PC’. Seems they are already reusing the names.

I still have my original Commodore 64 system, sans monitor. I also have a Commodore 64C system and a 128 system, no monitors for them either. Of course, they’re all in the closet!

I’ve heard that the market for the later 486 and early Pentium systems is on the rebound. I thought about getting one of these for my older games that don’t like my 333 mHz anymore.
