# e-mail spam......specifically from outlook.com

Wondering if anyone has any insight on this.

My primary e-mail address is getting spammed. It’s basically ONLY from the domain @outlook.com Always a different email address but always outlook.  
I could just block the domain, [outlook.com](http://outlook.com). But don’t want to miss a real email if someone I know uses outlook.  
Thanks for any help.

I don’t have any advice, but it’s important to note that the ‘from’ address in spam is not a reliable indicator of the actual origin of the spam.

90% or more of people registering on this board **who use @outlook.com as an email address,** are spammers.

True, but that doesn’t really answer the question, because that’s just because there are so many spammers. How many legitimate users are there?
