# Earliest recorded use of the phrase "fuckity fuck"?

I just saw the phrase “fuckity fuck” used in the movie _Four Weddings and a Funeral_, which is further back in the past than I would have expected to see the phrase. Who knows of earlier recorded instances of the phrase?

Google Books has it as appearing on page 29 of the novel _The Thirty Years Peace_ by Peter O. Chotjewitz (1981).

Chotjewitz is a German writer, and it looks like the English edition of this book is a translation from the German. So we likely have a translator to thank for the “fuckity fuck” rather than Chotjewitz himself.
