Regarding Cecile’s “Earlobes and heart disease” ([Are earlobe creases a sign of heart disease? - The Straight Dope](http://www.straightdope.com/columns/read/2892/are-earlobe-creases-a-sign-of-heart-disease)):
I seem to recall that another physical ‘sign’ is the phenomenon of fingers that do NOT taper down towards the ends, but, instead, get somewhat larger.
Any comment, corroboration, or refutation?
