Well once again I turn to my most trusted source on finding out what I’m looking for…

I’m trying to find the name of a cartoon series that I used to watch as a kid in the Netherlands. It had a distinct anime feel to it, and I believe it was from either early 80s or late 70s. It might however have been french as well, but definitely had a anime feel to it…

There were huge spacehips, travelling to different planets all the time. The 'heroes were a young boy, young girl, older boy and older girl accompanied by this robot. The robot looked a bit like an upside down pineapple (his body consisted of triangular ‘scales’) and a long pointy nose - he could fly and use his ‘scales’ as a weapon. The ‘villains’ were two clumsy guys - one very weasily and the other rather brutish with a big red nose (like an alcoholic).

I believe there was also a spinoff were they all lived inside the human body, and their adventures were used to illustrate how parts of your body worked…

Somebody please help me identify this cartoon/anime series…

Thank you

I think you mean the french series[’Il etait une fois…’](http://animeguides.free.fr/series/iletfoisespace/listing.htm). There were several series iirc including space, the human body and history.
The dutch version was called ‘Er was eens…’
