Maybe. Depends on if my #!@!@ house sells and I move before then. 'course, Monroe looks to be GOOD LORD! I just looked it up on the map. Isn’t that OHIO?!? Can you GET any farther south?!? Guess I won’t be going to that one. When’s the Mackinaw City dopefest? I’ll drive to that one. ---

Newbster, heh first time I’ve heard that one! This post is just full of strange occurances for me, first meeting my next door neighbor, and now **Juniper** mentions ether. My friends and I created an alcoholic drink and called it Ether, because of the absolutely horrible taste. Maybe I’ll bring some along… ---

Well, I think that on December 29th I’ll still be hosting my family from Nebraska, and it might be bad form to just abandon them. But I’ll see. Maybe I can send the menfolk off to “College Hockey At The Joe” or something and leave Cranky Jr with the wimmins and sneak off. ---

Sorry, Cristi. But imagine how I felt to discover it! You don’t suppose the elderly lady who lives next to you is a Doper, do you? Hopefully the “freakiness” will wear down enough by December–I don’t want to prevent whatever magik you’ve got planned. 😃 **Newbie** : I did talk to your dad (or not; I guess one shouldn’t make assumptions, especially on this board) briefly once or twice before I moved in two years ago. But I’m not a social butterfly, and I’d feel pretty strange actively walking up to random people around town to make conversation. Not sure how familiar you are with everyone on the boards, but it’s technically possible you may have even seen **Medea’s Child** , as she came by to visit one Saturday. (She was one of the tall blondes. ;)) ---

If we do one in Charlevoix in the spring (My Spring Break is the third week of March…is it spring yet up there in the third week of March?) can we go to [Tapawingo](http://members.aol.com/tapdining/)? It’s nearby(ish), and I’ve wanted to eat there since…since always, I think. It costs a bit, but I’ve been saving anyway. 🙂 ---

This is just a little bump to see if anyone is still interested in this. The first response wasn’t entirely overwhelming, so I’m open to suggestions for other locations, times, etc. I’d hate to have people come all the way to Monroe only to hang out with boring old me and three other people for a few hours. 🙂 ---
