Since you asked, **Ruby** : Going home will encompass seeing the home of my idol Ludwig van Beethoven in Bonn; then to see where he lived in Vienna; and then home to my friends and family for a wonderful 4 days in Rothenburg ob der Tauber! I am going to drink so much bier I will slosch coming home! (If I **do** come home - I may have myself kidnapped and y’all asked for ransom - like y’all would have any money to ransom my ass! LOL!) God! Everty time I think about going home, I get this shit-eating grin on my face about seeing my sweet family and friends again! Sorry. I’m rambling, aren’t I? I’m a ramblin’ guy, ah reckon! Next month, I need to get out on the road and plan for the Atlanta Marathon in October. Thus far, I have been just running around the track at the University of West Georgia track because of the weather, but my legs are strong enough now to where I can handle some hills. I would appreciate any and all advice from silver-haired runners to help me get through this. Thanks Quasi ---

Another friend who lives in Alabama now was a ferrier for Susan Hayward there back in the 70s. ---

OMG!!! Dr. Gerry Garmon was my favorite English Lit prof there (he knew it, too, because as my major kept moving, and he kept moving up, he used to tell me, “Mr. Craig, I know EXACTLY what you’re doing, and thank you!”) I loved him and that little scraggly goatee and couldn’t wait to get to his classes, sober or not ! I once asked him in class (this was in the early 70’s. okay) if Tennessee Williams were gay, and he stared me down as he said, “Mr. Craig, I’m sure I don’t know!” Y’all could have heard a pin drop and I wish I could have sunk through the next available hole. I have many more stories of my West Georgia (and Martha Munro) days I can tell! Y’all have but to ask, and thank you! Quasi ---

So maybe that should be part of our strategy… we just blissfully go on, forgetting everything that would’ve stressed us out, and let our Sig Others get all bothered and frustrated by our forgetfulness instead!
