Ok folks, the twelve playoff teams have been decided. Now it’s time to take your best guess as to who is going to Houston February 1st. We want the two Super Bowl teams, and the final score of the game. As any Gregg Easterbrook fan will tell you, it’s very, _very_ difficult to accurately predict the final score of a game, but that’s our challenge! Winner gets…errr… \ this genuine paper football, and…ummm… \ this peanut that sorta resembles John Madden. For my pick, I’m going **Rams** over the **Patriots** , 34-24. P.S. Just in case you don’t follow football, but still wanna play along, just pick an AFC team, an NFC team, and a couple of numbers that sound vaguely football-scorish. AFC Teams New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans, Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, Baltimore Ravens NFC Teams Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Carolina Panthers, St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers ---

The Brett Favre “For My Pops” tour rolls. The Broncos are peaking at the right time of year. (Week 17 doesn’t count - Denver rested keys starters.) A rematch of Super Bowl XXXII. In a game for the ages its the first ever overtime in the SB. Elam hits an amazing 57 yard field goal: Denver 35 Green Bay 32 (OK, Ok this mostly what I **want** to happen. What I think will happen: Pats 28 Eagles 17) ---

Up until this afternoon’s Motor City Meltdown I thought the Rams had a very good chance of getting revenge for the loss against New England in Super Bowl XXXVI. After their pathetic 2nd half performance however, I doubt they will be able to beat Green Bay at the Dome two weeks hence. Super Bowl XXXVIII will be an old-fashioned Super-blowout **Patriots 41, Eagles 10** ---

I going with a game between the Ravens (on the strength of Jamal Lewis) and the Philadelphia Eagles (just because I use them when I play my Madden '04 Franchise…anyone ever notice their jerseys resemble the Sasaktchewan Roughriders of the CFl in colour) Final score - **Eagles - 24 Ravens - 31** Of course, Jamal Lewis will put up some pretty strong numbers. ---

I’m going with the Chiefs -vs- Eagles. I think I’ll go against the trend and pick an Eagles win 24 to 10. The real game will probably a blowout like **5 time champ** predicted. The only thing I can be pretty certain about is that the Cowboys will be watching the game from home. ---

Well, we made our “[early picks](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=208278&highlight=Super+AND+Bowl)” back in August. These are more like early in the playoffs picks, which are much easier to make. In that one no one did great, but I have a good shot at having predicted the NFC title match correctly (as does **Quack** ). **VarlosZ** was the only one that saw the Patriots coming. Picking today I’d take the Patriots over the Eagles, although my Eagles over the Titans pick is still not a bad choice. Especially since it was made in August. It’s about the only thing I even got close on this year in picks, though. ---
