**Il Papa** , if your new kittehs have the personalities of their Persian ancestry, they should be real sweethearts. I need to finish a group card for irk tomorrow. One of my cow-orkers just left for the Phillipines to bring his family back for immigration. Heā€™s fairly new to our department and has worked on a big project with Quality, so his old department, Quality and ours are signing a card and buying a gift card for him. He will be meeting his 10 month old son for the first time on this trip too. šŸ™‚ ---

Howdy Yā€™all! Been a busy eveninā€™ here at da cave. Dindin got cooked and delivered, then we et our own dindin. The stuffded peppers were magnifico ifā€™n I do say so myself. I should make ā€˜em more often. OYKW and I have started goinā€™ through the process of consolidatinā€™ our stuff into one home, i.e. da cave. He does not have a huge amount of stuff and the only thing he says heā€™d like to move is his bedroom furniture which I admit is nice. That can be done as I donā€™t mind givinā€™ away the furniture in the guest bedroom and puttinā€™ his in there instead. It will fit just fine. We shall see how we progress, but, well, baby steps. šŸ˜ƒ **CupCakes** donā€™t sweat it. How rude to call at feedinā€™ time! ---

She is a 22 yrs Army spouse, from the South, has a sense of humor and will fill the bill nicely. I still have one more to interview next week but I have pretty much made up my mind. Plus, the other one is overqualified. Hopefully within two weeks I will be fully staffed again depending on background checks, etc. Yay **Nut** on being a free woman. That new hire sounds like a doozy. Would drive me bonkers it would. Back to **Downton Abbey** for at least one episode before sleepy town. ---

Other than all that I adulted my tukas off today. I noticed a slow leak in one of the car tires (it lost 5 pounds overnight) so I took it to the tire store and had it checked. Got off lucky because it was only a bad bead and not the tire itself since with a Subaru and half-worn tires I would have had to replace all 4 or risk drive-train problems. Tracked down the codes to a check engine light I was getting on Bessie over the weekend enough to know I donā€™t have to really care about it. Gathered rubbish and did some laundry. Then I went to work and while I am not happy with the current regime I stayed late to help out the one area manager. I hope not to be nearly as responsible tomorrow. ---
