Any stats on climatic _changes_ before or after an earthquake?

People are notoriously bad at objective data taking. Many policemen, firefighters and nurses swear that there is more business for them during a full Moon, but there have been several studies that show that this is certainly not the case (I have papers at home on the studies, but not handy, my apologies).

People tend to remember things when they are tied to unusual events. So if you have an earthquake when the weather is hot, then that makes the two seem connected.

The only two earthquakes I have actually felt here in CA were both around 8 in the morning, on a Tuesday. Coincidence?

Yes. 😉
