Really? A real earthquake?
I remember a few years ago there was a small earthquake in Ohio, and my parents thought the house was falling down. Luckily, it was a small one, and there was no damage.

47 quakes in a week? Holy moly.
Though I supppose the small ones are only noticable very locally. I’ve experienced one earthquake in my life, it was the [1992 Roemond one](http://www.eqe.com/publications/roermond/roermond.htm).
Registering 5.5 on the scale, it woke me up at the time [sub]because a beer bottle fell off my cupboard, and on to my head[/sub] - I’m sure I would have slept through it otherwise.
I lived about 40 kilometers away from the epicentre.
That quake log is quite fascinating. I’ve been in LA a few times now, usually for one week periods. I have yet to experience my first tremble there.

Never said I was upset, **spooje**. Reason I was in such a hurry to post is, **Johnny LA** always seems to beat me to the punch. This time he didn’t, for what appears to be the simple reason that he wasn’t online, and probably not even at home.

Sigh. I miss earthquakes. Haven’t felt one since I was 8. Of course where I lived was mostly forest so there was no real damage even with the big ones. Someday.
