Yesterday, there was a story on the net about a study done on “earworms”. These are songs that get stuck in your head and refuse to leave. So, I got to thinking, how are other people afflicted? I personally can listen to mere seconds of a song and it’s stuck in my head for days. I rarely get a song stuck in my head that I hear for more than seconds. I can also have a conversation with someone and if they say just a few words that remind me of a song, that song starts playing in my head. So… How are you guys afflicted? Are there any songs in particular that bug you or any way you get caught? ---

Sometimes at night when I am trying to sleep I hear the country song “It’s 5:00 Somewhere” playing in my head. I guess cause it is a popular song and its played regularly at night when I am listening. ---

One summer I had that song “Momma Said There’ll Be Days Like This” (I’m not sure if that’s the correct title). That song still haunts me to this day but not with the same severity. \<\<\\>\> ---

Alot of the songs I get stuck in my head are songs I really like. Sourgirl - Stone Temple Pilots Miles Away - Winger Der Kommissar - After The Fire I Got Id - Pearl Jam Luckily I don’t have a Crap Music Earworm.
