"Easter Eggs" in Movies and TV

Wasn’t there a thread a lot like this earlier?

I think there was a long extensive talk on the end of “Newhart”…

Character nods to the actor’s former character covered much of the same ground when we did it in March.

Recently on Reaper, Ray Wise, starring as the Devil, brings Sam to a rural town to find a soul.

Sam: What a cute backwoods-y town! (or something)

Devil: Yeah, creepy isn’t it? Like something out of a David Lynch movie.
Everything about the Devil character screams Leland Palmer, but the mention was one better.
I don’t think this had aired as of the last thread ;p

Ah, yes…that was it.

Thank you Mr. Bailey

So is this thread abandoned or what?

My two cents: The license plate on Janet Leigh’s car is NFB-418. These are Norman Bates’ initials.

+…and here is what is going to really blow your mind. In that True Lies Scene, “Der Ahhh-node (Harry Tasker… very teutonic.)” is dressed in an overcoat like John Connor. The film portrays an exact inverse and opposite reaction to his stereotype. This is when der arnold broke loose. I believe it was a pivotal psychological role for the Governor. He actually introduced this movie and script to Cameron, it was the only role Schwarzeneggar wanted to do for Character. I think the government appointment under Reagen inflamed his steroid driven Heimats Pride. Der Hari war doch NSA.

Strike, John Connor. Overcoated like Kyle Reese. Punks and Bums surrendered their clothes.

There was supposed to be a sequel to True Lies, but Cameron and Arnold punked out because of 9-11 and political considerations. This was one of the first films to succumb to our “tower trauma”. They are artistic cowards and first class puusies for missing the opportunity. Too driven by appearance.

Big Bang Theory:

How do guys break up with girls?
Leonard (Johnny Galecki): They usually tell me: I like you. Leonard, but I want to see how things go with Mark.

Galecki played David on Roseanne, and Mark Quinn played his big brother Mark.
