The thing that pisses me off is that the networks don’t show those great old Biblical epics on Easter anymore. When I was a kid, Easter meant eating egg salad sandwiches and chocolate, and watching _Ben Hur_ on TV. Damn revisionists.:mad: ---

Personally, I think it’s a little silly for a privately owned store to dance around Easter. (And a little disappointing, since it seems like the Last Major Identifiably Christian Holiday has now become secularized like all the rest.) If the government or a university were changing it to “spring” I would approve. I also have always been a little disappointed that the Saturday sandwiched between Good Friday and Easter- i.e. Jesus Kicks Ass in Hell Day- hasn’t received the attention it deserves. ---
