# Easter long weekend

This was always the case in my home town of Coventry.

It looks as though most shops (but not banks) are open in the UK on Good Friday. Saturday is a normal working day , with banks open. On Sunday the shops that usually are open ( such as DIY and garden centres) will be closed . Monday sees quite a few shops closed. So a bit of a dog’s dinner regarding holidays for those who usually work over the week-end.
