Go on and close a [thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=358214) if you feel it’s inappropriately constructed for GQ. That’s your job and good on you for your first post putting me in my place for posting a multiple in GQ. Fie on you for your follow-up comment speculating on my motivation and your accusation of me desecrating the GQ forum though. That was uncalled for and mean-spirited. Obviously, you made it a point to review my previous contributions, funny you should miss the rarity of misogynistic posts, references to specific body parts as “meat” and overall foolin’ around in GQ (well, ok…no foolin’ around _before_ the OP is answered.) In truth, the multiple questions came out of a lunch conversation today that ranged from synchronous menstruation, the good & bad of heat-prepared food, and the pitfalls of cannibalism. I was actually thinking of the hamsters by posting an all-in-one of three little questions that could be quickly and interestingly answered. If other people chose to make junior high comments before the questions were answered you need to get after _them_, not me. And you can stick yer little “Yip Yip” snark right up your ass. That thread was reopened because not everyone here sees me as a troll. ---

I have never, for the record jumped into a Pit The Mod thread, but I’m here because I totally agree with this last piece. Well, agree with the whole post, but especially this part. Had to share the angst of “Yip yip, etc.” bubbling up through layers of tightly packed repressed memories. I needed to feel less alone, less…_freakish_. I’ve never been the same since those little monsters got the crap scared out of them by a ringing telephone… : walks away sobbing : ---

I actually realized what **Inigo** was doing in his “Yip Yip” thread and IM’ed Skip to reopen that one. It wasn’t meant as a put down. I was on **Inigo** ’s side. I helped get the thread reopened. **Inigo**. I don’t see you as a troll. But you were cruising in that OP you started in GQ. I know–just my opinion. Thanks for your explanation of your motivation. But I stand by my posts. ---

I don’t attribute anything bad to you in your GQ posts. Hell, I hardly ever notice you there. But I did notice this one, perhaps because I had just finished an IM with Skip. And you’re correct–there are posters in GQ who need to get their clocks cleaned by me and the other Mods. I only wish I had the time. Quite often it’s a matter of who I see first. It was your turn in the barrel. I meant nothing personal. You just happened to be the person who I noticed that time. ---
