# Eating Crow...

Where does this expression come from? I WAG it’s because crows are so noisy, parallel to someone shooting off his/her mouth? But, does eating crow really fit? - Jinx

I read somewhere long back that the Japanese started eating crows when the crows became a nuisance in Japan. I am be totally wrong in this though.
