I’ve long lobbied for a “show negatives only” display option. I rarely deal with sellers who don’t have a high positive rating percentage, so the few negatives are of special interest. Some otherwise good sellers only have problems with a particular item or category. If they bought a bum lot of refurbished DVD players, don’t ship heavy items promptly, or consistently blame the shipper for frequent breakage of a specific item that needs careful packing, five negatives on the Item I’m researching far outweighs a thousand positives on unrelated items. This especially applies to eBay businesses whose huge positives on baseball cards or e-mailed recipes can be irrelevant to larger, more delicate items.
