“draconian income tax rules” when there are currently wealthy Americans who pay no income tax at all; now if you want “draconian tax rates” look back at the 50’s when top tax was 94% (!) on income over $200,000 ---

Trying not to stray from the topic at hand, yet if the President cannot do this with an Executive Order there is a loud silence from Congress (at least from his nominal party). Probably (CYA) wise unless they’'re planning to retire. Yet leaving it all to reach SCOTUS is certainly derelict of any “upholding the Consitution” oaths they took. One of the recent Executive Orders demands a bond for legal fees be put up and how does one challenge that without putting up a bond? Congress could and should do something about that and if they want to pass on gold cards IMHO it’s still derelict yet there’s no law against that (for congress). ---

I don’t think the numbers will be in the millions, but the local oligarchs just need a few more Rupert Murdochs, a few more Elons, a few Russian oligarchs in danger over there, etc. That is, more powerful people that will take over more media and institutions so as to ensure that there will be kakistocracy forever in the US. ---
