I’m sorry but count me in as someone a bit puzzled at what the fuss is all about. Sure, the administration did this in a cloddish way but the essence of it is that you can still be a jerk within the Pit but just not a complete jerk. That’s always been a judgment call. Trying to codfiy what constitutes being a complete jerk is perhaps the mistake. Making a few words the focus is also a mistake (but does remind me of [the famous Carlin](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_Nrp7cj_tM) routine.) I just can’t get too upset over the demand that the insults rise above “well you’re a fuckity fuck fuck you fuckin’ cunt” y’know? The “demand” is not even to not be be a jerk, but that if you are going to be a jerk then you should at least be funny and creative when you do so. And if you aren’t? Oh my, you may get admonished. Keep it up and you might even get warned. Oh dear. And people, good intelligent posters with good senses of humor, are splintering over this? Well fuckity fuck fuck to that! ---

Quick, does anybody think the phrase “santimonious moron” is too sexual? Oh wait, it might be hostile or even _abusive_. What I was really grouping for was the elegant description by the ineffable and much-missed **neurotrashgrrl**. It went something like, “You’re the cretinous offspring of a syphillitic, camel-raping whore and a cross-eyed dwarf named Klaus.” It was pure poetry but considered in retrospect, so abusive of syphilis sufferers, camel rapers, camel victims, commercial sex workers, the visually impaired, Little People or those of similar stature issues and of course any and all named Klaus. ---

I think there should be love and flowers and snuggly puppies and all that jazz. Can’t we all just get along?
