# Ed Rush is guilty

I just saw this closed thread: [Ed Rush offers bounty to give technical to coach (but he was only joking)](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=687002).

I wasn’t intentionally ignoring Saint Cad’s requests for my response. I just hadn’t checked back into the thread until now and wasn’t aware he was asking.

I have no problems with the outcome. I said at the beginning that it was a serious offense and Rush should be removed if it was true. The evidence supported his guilt and he’s no longer refereeing.
