The Pit mods are generally good folks – hell, Giraffe is one of the few mods with a pretty wicked sense of humour – so perhaps they too see that Colibri is a giant pussy who got his ass handed to him and they don’t want to side with such a nutcase (“knife fight”, indeed). Or maybe they’re just sitting on the sidelines waiting for this to run its course. In any event, I am surprised that Ed hasn’t come back to close this all down. ---

I’d guess that he’ll come blustering back in a few weeks or months, banning people over nothing, imposing weird-ass interpretations of time-honored rules and practices, defending some lame-ass Mod for throwing a hissy-fit, etc., and it would be nice to link to his concession here that he fucked up. But since we’re not getting any kind of acknowledgment or concession, I suspect he’s handwaving this entire episode. “Those are not the humiliating authoritarian outbursts you’re looking for.” ---

When you screw up and persist in your mistake by not apologising then, as long as you persist, you deserve to be called on it. I generally do not get involved in these threads and do not remember why I got involved in this one but there there is a long history here of similar screwups. I learnt very young that it is easier and more honorable to apologise frankly and profusely than to try to defend the indefensible. Once you apologise it´s over. Some people are unable to apologise with words but at least they try to make up by buying chocolate or offering a blow job. It´s their way of admitting their mistake. I am not expecting anything of the sort here. ---

The problem is while we’re high-fiving each other and doing our little hotdoggy gimmicks, pointing at each other, standing on our heads, etc., the scoreboard still refuses to register the touchdown.
