Nah, the headgear is for the crows to protect themselves from the mind control device that THEY’RE building. They’ll all be wearing them on the day that they turn it on. Don’t underestimate crows. ---

I walked early this morning to beat the heat. Edgar followed at a distance. He made it known by cawing occasionally. Bayliss barked back once. I’m kinda concerned what he said about me. 😱 When we got around to the drive way he was sitting atop the gate post. Gloriously! One wing spread wide. I tried to get my phone/camera out to take a photo, alas. Too late. I think I love that bird!! ---

I got new crow socks. And Edgar is much too quick to get a picture. I’m sure it would not show any thing. He’s magical, and all. ---

Edgar was flying very high and cawing in the sky when we were walking. Ivy said “hey, ain’t that _your_ Crow”? That made me happy. She said _“your”._ Yay! 💕 🐦‍⬛… ---

He did a fabulous fly-by. No one thought he was a friend til he landed on the eave of the barn and cawed several loud hoarse calls. It’s decided. He’s mine. Now to get him to take a peanut from me. 🤞 ---

Ongoing war in my back yard between the two ravens and the squirrels to see who gets the peanuts (which are put out for the ravens). They are very wary of each other, but the ravens seem to able to scare a rodent a few feet so that the bird can grab the prize. ---
