I’m here and have to note one thing thats most likely not obvious to most Americans.
They can and do play golf here in February! It’s freezing rain in Detroit right now, but here in Edinburugh it’s a 49 and sunny. I couldn’t get on the course because the weekend was booked solid and had to satisfy myself with a 100 balls on the driving range this morning. No jacket even necessary. 
  All the local golf “experts” I spoke to before I left said there was no way they would be playing because most likely it was too cold or too muddy. Ha ha, I say! Is this normal? :dubious:
Now I’m off to the Royal Mile to “tan the bevvy”.  I’ll ask a local bartender about that one . . . this could get interesting.
