Having some indication in the title that the title has changed is useful for any changes more significant than typos. This lets me know it is the same thread I’ve been reading/ignoring, and not a new thread.

Not guilty.

Those three threads landed in GD all by themselves.  
I had a conversation with a poster over the number of “Economics-” threads and noted that they had been split from another one, but I did not have any part in the splitting or naming.  
I’ll stick to making my own typos, thank you. 😃

Sorry, it wasn’t you. That’s a long freaking thread history - it was split several times, moved to GD from IMHO, and the typo was either introduced during the thread split or it wasn’t fixed. Regardless, it’s OK now.
