# Editing my posts

When I click on the edit/delete button near my post, it prompts me for a username / password. When I input the info, it days the info was wrong.

I have used this info to access my profile info, so I know that it is correct.

Why can’t I edit my posts?

You’re not allowed to. Only moderators and administrators can edit. That way you can’t say something inflammatory, then change it later.
