What does Editor Mode (when composing a post) actually do? ---

It replaces the text box where you see the vBulletin coding with a text box where you get a WYSIWYG display. So, instead of seeing: [noparse] **This is in bold** [/noparse] you will see: **This is in bold** ---

Repeat in English since my meaning apparently wasn’t clear. I have no idea what is meant by “Editor mode”. Could someone please explain? ---

Go to the User CP, then choose options. Scroll down till you see Miscellaneous Editing Options. Select the “Enhanced Interface – Full WYSISWYG” option. Henceforth, when you are creating a post, what you see is what you will get. As always, that’ll be a dollar. ---

Or just above the message input area, on the far right, you’ll see a button that looks something like [sup]A[/Sup]/_ **A** _. Click on that to toggle between modes. ---
